My Approach
A whole-human, wilderness-informed way of supporting people through uncertainty and change.
When someone comes to coaching, they are often standing at a threshold. The old way is not working. The new way is not clear. There is a quiet longing to trust themselves more deeply.
My approach meets that moment with steadiness, presence, and the belief that you already have wisdom inside you. We deepen your ability to hear it.
This work is grounded in Integral Coaching, a method that brings your mind, body, emotions, relationships, and deeper instincts into the room together. We work with your whole self, not just the part of you trying to think your way forward.
An Integral, Whole-Human Way of Working
You are multi-dimensional. Coaching should be too. Your patterns, strengths, emotions, worldview, and body all shape how you move through life. We honor all of these layers because transformation happens when the whole self is included, not when you try to think your way into change.
Your experience is not a problem. It is information. You have been navigating the world in a wise and protective way. We explore your Current Way with respect, not judgment.
You already have an inner authority. Many people come to me when they realize they have been referencing external voices, mentors, partners, institutions, expectations, more than their own. A core part of my approach is helping you shift toward self-guidance, inner referencing, and trust in your own clarity.
Insight matters, and practice is what creates change. This approach blends awareness with embodiment. You learn to see yourself clearly, and then you practice new ways of being that strengthen what you want to grow.
Change unfolds over time. Growth is developmental. We do not push or force it. We build capacity gently and consistently.
What Shapes My Coaching
These influences are not only part of my story. They actively inform how I hold space and guide your growth.
Wilderness Leadership
Years of navigating unpredictable terrain taught me how to work with uncertainty. Orienting. Listening. Taking the next right step. In coaching, this becomes a calm, grounded presence that helps you navigate your own internal landscape.
Natural Horsemanship
Horses respond to energy, clarity, boundaries, and timing. They teach attunement and embodied leadership. These skills translate directly into how I read patterns and support you in shifting how you show up.
Insight Meditation
Meditation trains me to meet reality as it is, notice craving and aversion, and return to presence. This allows me to hold your experience with steadiness and help you build the same capacity.
Deep Coaching Lineage
My work comes through Integral Coaching Canada. This method integrates developmental psychology, somatics, mindfulness, and relational intelligence into a grounded, compassionate path for change.
Two Decades of Guiding People
Long wilderness trips, leadership trainings, and team development work have shown me how humans soften, reorganize, and reconnect with themselves. The wilderness continues to shape my instinct for pacing, permission, and grounded support.
How We Work Together
1. We begin by understanding your Current Way
How you have been organizing your life, not as a flaw but as an intelligent strategy that has carried you this far.
2. We clarify your New Way
A more grounded, spacious, self-trusting way of being that aligns with who you are becoming.
3. You take on simple, meaningful practices
Not chores. Not checklists. Real, embodied steps that help you build new capacity. This is where transformation happens.
4. Your inner authority strengthens
As you practice, the pull toward external validation quiets. You begin to trust your own timing, instincts, and truth.
5. We step off the trail, into unknown terrain, together.
I am not ahead of you. I am not behind you. I am beside you. I bring clarity, attunement, and a steady pace.
Why This Approach Works
People often feel:
more grounded and present
less overwhelmed
more connected to their bodies
clearer about what they want
less reactive
more intentional
rooted in their own guidance
more courageous and resourced
This happens because we work from the inside out. Growth comes through awareness and embodied practice, not force or willpower.
If You Are Curious About Working Together
We can begin with a simple conversation.
There is no pressure and no performance.
Just space to explore what is unfolding for you.
